OCC D-Series is a rugged distribution cable designed for deployment and retrieval in harsh environments.

At Foss, D-Series is our standard OCC tactical cable and is used in several of our pre-terminated rugged fiber solutions, including assemblies with TE ProBeam and SENKO IP-LC connectors.

Its compact, round construction combines mechanical strength with low weight and flexibility, making it suitable for mobile and temporary fiber networks.

D-Series is available with different fiber counts and fiber types and can be supplied either as bulk cable or as a complete pre-terminated assembly.

B-Series – tactical breakout cable

OCC B-Series is a rugged breakout cable in which the individual fibers are protected within separate buffered subunits.

This construction makes the cable particularly suitable for applications where individual fibers need to be terminated directly to connectors, while avoiding the need for a large external breakout manifold.

Foss can use B-Series cable in customer-specific pre-terminated breakout assemblies.

 

From OCC cable to a complete Foss solution

OCC manufactures the fiber optic cable. Foss can then cut, terminate, assemble and test the cable in our own production facilities.
