We use bioplastics

Foss Fiber Optics has a strong commitment to the environment and sustainable solutions. One of the areas we are constantly working on is to improve the packaging of the products we sell.

Therefore, we use Bioplastic when we pack the products. To be sure that we have received one of the most environmentally Bioplastics on the market today, we have chosen one that meets the European standard EN13432 and is certified by DIN CERTCO in Germany.

DIN CERTCO is the certification organization of the TÜV Rheinland AG and DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V. DIN CERTCO monitors the quality assurance of down and feathers as well as their traceability.

Before the companies are allowed to use the Traumpass label for their products, they have to undergo a quality test and an audit. For these control measures, products of the specific producers are tested by accredited testing institutes. Filling materials used must comprise down and feathers that meet the requirements of the two highest quality classes of the European standard 12934; companies must submit correct declarations regarding filling composition.
