Vernickelte Steckverbinder für den Einsatz in explosiver Atmosphäre (ATEX) nach EN 60079-28:2005. Der Hawke-Stecker kann als Anschlussstecker, Anschlussbuchse oder Wanddurchführung geliefert werden. Bei allen Varianten ist eine Schutzabdeckung enthalten. 

Der Anschlussstecker und die Buchse können mit einer gewünschten Kabellänge geliefert werden. Hawke-Anschlüsse können an einem oder an beiden Enden terminiert werden. Wenn Hawke nur an einem Ende verwendet wird, kann das andere Ende mit einer gewünschten Länge des Breakout-Kabels mit Standardsteckern (SC, LC, etc.) bestellt werden.

Die Wanddurchführung ist für den Einbau in Schalttafeln/Schränken vorgesehen und ist mit Patchkabeln mit Standardanschlüssen (SC, LC, etc.) am anderen Ende erhältlich.

Das Buchsenteil weist einen eingebetteten Adapter (Buchse) auf, der beim Anschluss an den "männlichen" Anschlussstecker (Pin) zum "weiblichen" Teil wird.

The connector plug and receptacle may be delivered with a specified length of cable. You may have the Hawke connector in one or both ends. If Hawke is used only in one end the other end may be ordered with a specified length of break-out cable fitted with standard connectors (SC, LC, etc.).
The bulkhead receptacle is for mounting in panels/cabinets and is available with patch cords with standard connectors (SC, LC, etc.) in the other end.
The receptacle part has an embedded adapter (socket), making this the "female" part when connecting to the "male" connector plug (pin).
